Back in 2015, it seemed like the entire internet was going crazy over The Dress, which some said was black and blue while others insisted it was definitely white and gold. Now, it seems like a very similar argument is brewing about this dresser.
Reddit user agamiegamer posted this picture of a dresser and asked: “What Color Do You See: Pink and White or Blue and Grey?”
Dozens of comments poured in, with many people on both sides of the debate. Several users said they saw it as an unexpected combination of pink and blue, or even lime green and gray. A few particularly dedicated users went so far as to try and balance the colors in Photoshop to see what color the dresser really was, but that only spurned further arguments. Others seemed to want to avoid the discussion altogether, like user crinfarr who wrote, “NO. NO MORE CIVILIZATION-KILLING COLOR PUZZLES.”
Twitter jumped into the debate too, with people seeing all sorts of combinations, but most were too preoccupied lamenting the mess on the dresser.
A mess that's what they are

For what it’s worth, agamiegamer posted a follow-up comment on Reddit revealing that the dresser is, in fact, gray and blue. However, not everyone was convinced.
But as we learned a couple of years ago when we all went crazy for The Dress, it’s possible that these color illusions are just in our heads.
“This is probably more related to brain interpretation as opposed to structural differences inside the eye,” one ophthalmologist told our friends at Seventeen back in 2015. “Kind of an extreme example but yes, there can be subtle differences in how people interpret colors of the same image.”
